Take a short walk to a small beach. Tour boats available at Maine Maritime Museum and Boothbay Harbor. Public boat launches nearby. Barbecue in the side yard.
Our Cottages
Come and get a different perspective on life! Experience life abundantly. We offer three inviting, waterfront cottages for rent seasonally - first to our family and then to the public so they too can enjoy what our family has enjoyed for generations- the splendor, beauty and majesty of God's great creation. Watch the seagulls and eagles flying overhead. Enjoy the seals bobbing to shore. Watch the boats as they enter and leave the waterfront. Munch on lobsters and clams. Walk the mudflats at low tide. Occasionally a U.S. Navy vessel from Bath Iron Works or a tall sailing vessel comes down the river to the ocean and returns.
Location
Once a bustling summer vacation colony for the wealthy families of Boston to travel to by steamer, we are located midway on the coast of Maine on a point of land called Bay Point at the tip of Georgetown Island. It is a marvelous place where the ocean surf meets the mighty Kennebec River. A boater's paradise. It is easily accessible to I-295, just 40 minutes away.
